$40 Million On-Farm Climate Action Fund To Be Made Available to Saskatchewan and Manitoba Producers
February 24, 2022The Manitoba Association of Watersheds (MAW) is a successful recipient of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) On Farm Climate Action Fund Project. This project will receive up to $40 million over two-years to be used throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The funding will support three key farming practices that benefit climate resiliency in agriculture: rotational grazing, nitrogen management, and cover crops.
